The feast day of St Hermes and St Augustine. Hermes is probably a Christian version of the Greek god of magic, medicine and occult wisdom. I have a habit of picking out inaccuracies in films... that stated, I am upset about a new movie about Jack the Ripper... firstly, there is still great debate to this day about who Jack the Ripper really was. secondly, in the film (preview), Jack the Ripper is repeadedly seen carrying and even slashing with a blade in his right hand when he was (based on direction, shape and size of his slashes) left-handed. I think I'll see the film anyway just to see if his famous note to Scotland Yard is included... (hehe... boobies...) posted by Sinister at 3:43 AM Thursday, August 16, 2001
